A resident of Kamloops, BC, Lorna J. Carleton is the author of The Dragons of Nibiru, a novel about a brilliant young girl named Celine who teams up with Fianna, the last princess of a dying race of noble dragons in order to find the key to the Dragon race’s survival, and the lives of everyone Celine holds most dear. Lorna will be signing books on March 23 from 11 AM to 5 PM at Spirit Quest Books.

Natalie Wilkie Recognition Celebration

This event is a celebration of what an athlete can do when inspired to. She’s only 17, but Salmon Arm’s Natalie Wilkie is already making her hometown very proud. The teen cross-country skier won three medals at the Paralympic Games in PyeongChang, a gold, silver and bronze. Handel’s Messiah

The public is invited to attend a real-time live broadcast of George Frideric Handel’s "Messiah", featuring the world-renown Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Orchestra at Temple Square and soloists. The full oratorio will be presented in three parts, with a 5-minute intermission between each. Participants are welcome and encouraged to sing along with the Choir. Movie Screening Feeding Ourselves
