There is lots to do in the Shuswap this weekend whether you’re in Chase, Enderby, Sicamous, Armstrong or Salmon Arm. We’ve compiled a list of some of the submissions to our website. It’s going to be tough to choose an event with so many things happening!
Canada Day 150 Eve
Head to Armstrong Memorial Park on June 30th for their “Countdown to Canada Day 150 Eve”.
Pack up your supper for a picnic in the park beginning at 6pm.
Then Valley First Music in the Park presents Viper Central from 7pm- 9pm. TELUS will be there giving away SWAG along with Rancho Vignola with tasty treats for everyone to try.
Representatives from Sister City Rathfriland will be attending the event and are excited to meet our community!
From 9:00pm-12:15am Armstrong/Spallumcheen Parks and Recreation is having a FREE Swim thanks in part to members of the Armstrong Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Centre!
Additonally, there will be an outdoor movie from 9:30pm-11:30pm in the park. Be sure to bring some snacks and a lawn chair then sit back and enjoy the outdoor movie screen showing either Beauty and the Beast 2017 or Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Have your say in a poll!
At Midnight we will be singing Happy 150th Birthday to Canada!

Sicamous is notorious for having an excellent Canada Day celebration, there’s a ton of great family friendly activities happening throughout the day as well as an awesome fireworks show in the evening.View Event Page
Chase Canada Day Celebrations
Head to Chase for a Pancake Breakfast at 8:00am then stick around for a parade, park market boat rides, a beer garden, face painting, a pow wow, live performances and more! Check out our link to the event page for more details.

At the Red Barn Arts Centre between 10:00am – 2:00pm on Canada Day.

Celebrate Canada’s 150 anniversary of Confederation at Canoe Beach. Take a virtual across Canada trip stopping in at every province and territory for local music and photo ops of landmarks.
